Service Description

Qualified with BSUPA (British Stand Up Paddle Association) to teach their BSUPA Level 1 “Ready to Ride” course. This 90 min course is aimed at people who have never tried stand up paddleboard before or people who have had a go but want to learn the basics and gain confidence on the board. The course structure is designed to give you the information you need to get on the water safely, have fun and learn the techniques of paddleboarding. During the course you will be given an introduction to how the weather and environment affects you, how to carry the board and paddle, paddling technique, different types of turns, self rescue and how to fall safely. You will also learn what you can do next to practice and improve your skills, purchase or hire equipment.
